The Curatorium opened in Providence in 2006, offering a mix of design, books, giftware, art, toys, and countless treasures no one needed but wound up buying anyway. Delighting locals and visitors alike, it weathered 8 years before owner Matthew Bird lost his resiliency in 2015 and called it quits.
